The OPN-2500 is a compact and versatile barcode scanner equipped with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) connectivity, USB-C, extended battery life, mobile App support (OptiConnect) and a high-speed 1D laser scan engine.The OPN-2500 is the successor of the popular OPN-2001, OPN-2004, and OPN-2006 in one product. It’s packed with the latest features and technology. Its ergonomic design, combined with its compatibility with various devices such as smartphones, tablets, and computers, make it an ideal tool for a wide range of applications, from retail and inventory management to logistics. The OPN-2500 is our most versatile 1D Companion scanner to date, supporting a large of number of modes and features to make it an indispensable tool for a variety of applications.

  • USB-C Connectivity: A wide range of USB modes are supported, being USB COM-port (USB-VCP, USB-CDC; OptiConnect, OPN Companion mode, Firmware updates), USB-HID (Keyboard) and USB-MSD (Mass Storage Device)
  • 3-in-1 default application: The firmware contains all 3 popular applications of the OPN-2001 and OPN-2006: OPN-2001 mode (Companion), Bluetooth application and Batch application
  • Extended battery life: Utilizing the advantages of Bluetooth Low Energy, very energy efficient hardware and a larger battery. The OPN-2500 can stay idle for months, connected to Bluetooth for weeks and scan thousands of barcodes without a recharge.
  • Flash memory: Its 2MB flash memory ensures that the OPN-2500 can safely store more than 20,000 barcodes, whether you’re connected or not or ever run out of battery.
